Nicolette Jarquin, CKD, Co Owner and Lead Designer

Nicolette began working at Arcata Cabinet and Design Company alongside her father, Tim Patton, in 1995, where she quickly discovered her passion for design. In 2001, she moved to Davis, California to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Architecture, building a strong foundation in both creative and technical design principles.

After graduating from UC Davis, Nicolette worked with a design firm in Sacramento, gaining experience designing kitchens and home interiors while also managing construction focused projects. Her work earned multiple design awards and was featured in both local and national publications, reflecting her ability to create spaces that are both visually compelling and highly functional.

After several years of professional success, Nicolette chose to return home. In 2015, she rejoined her family at Arcata Cabinet and Design Company, bringing fresh inspiration and expanded expertise to the studio. As a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) through the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), she remains closely connected to the industry and regularly attends the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show to stay current on emerging products, trends, and innovations.
